The Board of Directors, having considered the Nominating Committee's recommendation and having reviewed and considered the academic and professional qualifications, expertise, work experience and suitability of Ms Chooi, believes that her experience would be beneficial to the Group and has proposed Ms Chooi's appointment as an Independent Director of the Company.
